The Speck Aquaswim Filter Profile Gasket is designed to create a watertight seal between fittings installed on the inside and outside of the Speck filter drum. This gasket plays a critical role in preventing leaks at the filter tank connection points and maintaining correct internal pressure during filtration and backwashing.

The profile gasket is typically used with the following fittings:

  • Speck Aquaswim union bush (most commonly used)

  • Speck union bush short valve

  • Speck screw-in adapter fitting 1½" x 50 (glued type) installed on the inside of the filter drum

When properly installed, the gasket is positioned between the inside and outside fittings, ensuring a secure, leak-resistant connection through the filter tank wall.

This component is essential during sand filter installation, refurbishment, or when repairing leaks at union bush connection points.
