The pump is designed for optimal solar efficiency and should be paired with 2 x 550W solar panels (sold separately) for best results. Solar panel alignment should be true North in the Southern Hemisphere and tilted based on your location’s latitude (Cape Town: 33˚, Durban: 29˚, Johannesburg: 26˚, Pretoria: 25˚).
